New Video: After The Rain

Finally here it is: The Video for After The Rain from my album „awake“. Hope you like it!

Neben eigenen Songs interpretiert das Trio u.a. Songs von John Mayer, The Police, Neil Young, Adele und John Lennon.

Greensleeves

A wonderful medieval tune by an unknown composer. The first time I heard it I instantly loved it. This is my own partly modified version. Hope you like it.

Snowflakes

Cologne, Germany on a wonderful and sunny summer afternoon. Many People walking in many directions. Hurrying, maundering, talking, laughing, some frowning, drinking. Sitting around.
A snowy winter morning in early february. I was still lying in bed watching the snow fall outside the window. A pandemonium of thousands of snowflakes whirling, tumbling up and down and sideways. Only to finally hit the ground and vanish. Off for another try.
So much alike.

Snowflakes

Each of them only
All quite unique.
Belonging to one still
One single breed.

Different shapes and
Different size.
Heading their own and
Different ways.

Playfully dancing
Some walking straight,
Some of them heavy
Some without weight.

Trying to find a
Place of their own.
A wonderful place that
They call their home.

Living a life for
A task still unknown.
No, they can’t go wrong cause
They’re all coming down.

So easy to kill by
The touch of a hand.
Transformed into water
Send back to be mend.

Sailling away,
Just to come back
Another day.

Sailling away
We’re all coming back here
Another day

Sailling away
I try to believe
There’s another day.

Time Will Alter

Time Will Alter

Dried the River,
Lost the tree.
Fleet each moment,
Forever will be.

And, oh, they say
Time will alter,
And, oh, they say,
That time will alter,
Time will alter,
And change.

Here to hold you,
Love so true.
Share each moment,
All with you.

But, oh, they say
That time will alter,
And, oh, they say,
That time will alter,
Time will alter,
And change.

Clouds might follow,
Embrace the day.
And tears and sorrow,
Fade away.

And, oh, they say
That time will alter,
And, oh, they say,
That time will alter,
Time will alter,

And, oh, they say
Time will alter,
And, oh, they say,
That time will alter,
Time will alter,
And change.

Forever

The silence inside me is my best counselor and a reliable source of power. I just sit down, relax, and when my current thought ends I just don’t begin with another one. Once it works, it’s just fantastic. And slowly but surely the imagination transforms your life just the way you want it to be.
Forever

I wanna be all satisfied and happy,
Always be convinced of what I do.
I wanna find my talent, peace, salvation,
Sunshine where my path is leading to.

You, forever in my heart,
A whisper starts to talk,
My guidance from within,
The silence thundering.

I wanna be completely free from worries,
Self-assured and shining like a star.
Give away a thousand smiles a day into my world,
Feeling good while playing my guitar.

You, deep inside my heart,
An everlasting spark,
Protection from within,
The warmth under my skin.

You, you can mend my heart,
Stronger now I walk,
A flashing ray of light,
Lighting up.

Fly, away into the sky,
The silence inside me
Fly, weightlessly I try
To see all I can see.
Fly, away into the sky,
I know that you’re with me.
Fly, weightlessly I try
To see all I can be.

You, forever in my heart,
A whisper starts to talk,
My guidance from within,
The silence thundering.

You, forever in my heart,
Forever you’re a part,
Please come along with me,
To share my destiny.

Blackbird

Blackbird

I love this song … slightly altered, but sure thank you Paul! ;o)

Mindful

Be attentive about the images you project upon your life. Because this is where you’re heading. Use your mind attentively and then put it aside, from time to time. Watch the thinker, realise the intelligence beyond thought. Love, creativity, joy, inner peace arise from there.

Inspired by Eckhart Tolle’s “ The power of now“.

Mindful

Take another day
Paint it just my way
Meaning what I say
Feeling just o.k.

Smile along the way,
Sing and dance and praise
The morning fay.
Freedom from within
Just the right time and place
Let the sun shine in.

Everything will be what you want it
Imagine it your own way.
Every End will be what you want it
Each day
All your way
Each day
Just your way
Everything will be what you want it
Just be mindful every day.

Closer to my heart
So beautiful the world for a soulful start.
Candor ‚til the end,
Teach me what’s the meaning of a friend.

Every end will be what you want it
Imagine it your own way.
Everything will be what you want
Each day
All your way
Each day
Just your way
Every end will be what you want it
Imagine it your own way.

Where do I wanna go?
The answer I bear inside.
True to myself I find.
I know it’ll be allright.

Every end will be what you want it
Imagine it your own way.
Everything will be what you want
Each day
Just your way
Each day
All your way
Every end will be how you want it
Be mindful every day.

Don’t

I know, don’t don’t but do. Anyway …

Don’t

Don’t
Wait too long
Take the chance
That comes along
Don’t you wait
Till someone says
You’re on

Don’t
Move too fast
Take your time
Make it last
Sooner then
You’ll loose a friend
Called your past

Don’t
Tell a lie
Cause you are just
Passing by
And what you leave
Is pain and grief
Wasted time

Don’t
Stay in grief
Just come along
Let it be
Let’s sing a song
It’ll come undone
You will see

After The Rain

After The Rain

The sun is shining
so bright after the rain.
Yeah, it’s twice as bright,
there’s so much to gain.
There’s a deepest smile,
deep within my soul.
And my thoughts so light,
God, it feels so right.

And it’s past, finally past,
After the rain.

There’s a road that’s showing.
Futures glowing bright.
And the birds are singing
Their old song so light.
Colors shining,
Weaving the shirt of spring.
A melody that I need to sing.

And it’s past, finally past,
After the rain.

You may not know,
You where the one who made it right.
Lifted me off
Taking me to the light.
Once I was lost
Now I have found the light.

The sun is shining …

Winter’s Calling

Winter’s Calling

All my hopes and good thoughts
Pent-up in a hole
Chased by cloudghosts growling
Growing day by day

Looomig large above me
Whispering lower thoughts
Into my mind into my soul.

Hey winter’s calling
My mind is sinking
Into grey
Tall clouds they’re falling
Bury laughter
Taking all that’s blessed away
Coldness gets his prey
Life fading away

Winter’s taking his toll
Spirits shrinking small
Darkness comes no way to stop it
Cover me.
Crawling right into my dreams
Subtly smothering the smiles
Painting in cold colors grey.

Hey winter’s calling
My mind is sinking
Into grey
Tall clouds they’re falling
Bury laughter
Taking all that’s blessed away
Coldness gets his prey
But I know
Life is coming back
Yes I know
Life is coming back
We’re gonna be o.k.
Someday

Everywhere

Everywhere

Picture the best life for you,
What your heart calls you to do.
Wisdom to carry your thoughts,
Harmony right through your door.

Do beautiful things make you cry?
Will you stop when love passes by?
An artist of life you will be,
Finally all you can be.

I can take you everywhere,
You’ll see,
I can take you everywhere,
Everywhere you want to be.

I look what you do and I see,
That it’s also a part of me.
Like a truth telling mirror you’re showing
Many things so important to know and

You smile when you live out your dreams,
When you’re honestly happy it seems,
That you reach out and take our hands,
Pouring love all over our lands.

You can take me everywhere,
I see,
You can take me everywhere,
Everywhere I want to be.
You can take me everywhere,
I see,
You can take me everywhere,
Any place I want to be.

We can take us everywhere,
I see,
We can take us everywhere,
Everywhere we want to be.
We can take us everywhere,
I see,
We will take us everywhere,
Any place we want to be.
Everywhere we want to be
Everywhere we want to be
Everywhere we want to be

Disguised

Wearing a mask, even the lightest, keeps you from breathing freely. Sometimes I hope it saves me from standing naked. But that’s an illusion, I guess.
DisguisedSo we’re travelling
Dales and shadows
In disguise
All alone.Self inflicted
Or brought upon us
Desperate eyes
They beg for helpOpen up
Never hide
Show
What you’re made of inside.

Wrapped in fear
Congealed our longing
So in need of
What you cannot buy.

Look what happened,
Walking shadows,
No one knows
The gate anymore.

Open up
Never hide
Show
What you’re made of inside.

All away
All astray
All our shadows
Just gone
Away

Going down
I won’t follow,
Not alone, I know
We can stand

You know we’ve been
Through so much trouble,
Come on let’s reach out
And take our hands

Open up
Never hide,
Show
What you’re made of inside.

Open up
Give me some
Truth, honesty,
Better times to come

What you’re made of inside.
What you’re made of inside.
What you’re made of inside.
What you’re made of inside.

Carry Me On

Nobody can do it all alone. Thank God, I don’t have to.

Carry Me On

I will spread
My arms to hold you,
Always be
A friend that’s true.

Glad for all
The time we’re given,
My love I do
Love you.

You
Carry me on
You
Never alone
You
My angel, my light,
You
Ended the night.

Found the road,
I have to follow,
All I can be
Is where I’m bound,
I look ahead
And let love guide me,
In trust and faith,
All save and sound.

You
Carry me on
You
Never alone
You
My angel, my light
You
Ended the night

And even if
You’re not with me
Our hearts still beat
As one,
Our love is save,
A bond between us,
Never I
Do walk alone.

You
Carry me on
You
Never alone
You
My angel, my light,
You
Ended the night.
You ended the night
You ended the night
You ended the night.

Say I Care

Say I Care

This one is long ago
So fragile a soul alone
Looking for love
Alone
Alone

Give me your hand
Say I care
Deep in the dark
Show me you are there
Don’t let me down
Stay by my side
We’ll be alright
Tonight

Adrift in the sea of life
Pegging the one
That already dies
Unable to see these signs
These lies

Give me your hand
Say I care
Deep in the dark
Show me you are there
Don’t let me down
Stay by my side
We’ll be alright
To fight
